Introduction
We are thrilled to announce that Anchanto WMS now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) using Microsoft Active Directory (AD). This feature allows users to log in securely and seamlessly with their Microsoft accounts, eliminating the need for multiple credentials.
With this integration, organizations can centralize user access management through Microsoft Active Directory, enhancing security and simplifying the login experience for all WMS users.

How to Get Started
- Contact the Anchanto team to request configuration of your Microsoft AD for SSO.
- Once set up, users can access Anchanto WMS through the streamlined SSO process.
For New Users:

Account Creation:
The new user must first be created in Anchanto WMS. -
Activation Email:
- An activation email is sent to the user upon account creation.
- The email contains a link to activate the account.

Account Activation:
- The user activates their account by clicking the link and defining a password.
- Once the account is activated, the user can log in using the SSO feature.

SSO Prerequisite:
- The user's account must exist in Anchanto WMS before they can use SSO.
For Existing Users:

Microsoft AD Configuration:
- Once the Microsoft Active Directory (AD) integration is configured, existing users in WMS can start using the SSO feature.
How It Works
Once Microsoft AD is configured for your organization:
1. Navigate to the WMS login page (Web or PDA).
2. Click on the Sign in with SSO option.
3. Enter your email ID configured in Microsoft Active Directory for validation. Upon successful validation, gain instant access to the WMS platform.
4. If user attempts to log in with an email ID that is either invalid or not present in the Active Directory, an error message is displayed: "Invalid credentials or SSO configuration error. Please contact Anchanto tech support for more details.”
5. If a user attempts to log in using different Microsoft login details that are not registered in the WMS, then the following error message is displayed: "User not registered in WMS."
6. If a user attempts to log in using cross-user credentials (i.e., an email ID that belongs to someone else), then the following error message is displayed: "Invalid credential or SSO configuration. Please contact Anchanto tech support for more details.”
7. If a user is inactive or deleted then the following error message is displayed: “Email ID is not associated with any SSO Account.”
