Release Date: November 21, 2024
Introduction
A new feature has been added to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) mobile app (PDA) to enhance the pick pool order picking process by introducing a Not Available button on the product card view. This improvement allows pickers to proceed with picking without being stuck on a product with unavailable quantity (0 qty), thus ensuring smooth and uninterrupted picking operations.
Previous Configuration
Previously, if a product's quantity was unavailable, the picker could not move to the next product card without either picking the entire or partial quantity. This limitation delayed operations and created bottlenecks for orders with unavailable stock.
What’s New
- Added a Not Available button on the PDA product card view, allowing pickers to skip products If the quantity for a product is unavailable, the picker can mark it as Not Available using the new button.
- Skipped products automatically move to the Partial Pick Tab for later handling.
- Pickers can revisit the Partial Pick Tab to complete the picking process if the stock becomes available later.
Advantages
- Uninterrupted Picking Workflow: Enables pickers to continue picking even when stock for a product is unavailable.
