In Shopify, after an order is created, buyers may have the opportunity to add additional items to their existing order (Upsell). Previously, OMS synced the order immediately after it was created in Shopify, which meant any items added later through upselling were not included in the order within OMS.
To resolve this, you can configure a wait time in OMS to delay order processing, ensuring that any upsell items are correctly added to the order. Here's how to set this up:
- Login into your OMS account and navigate to Integrations module and go to Ecommerce Channels.
- Locate the respective Shopify store in the list. Click on the three dots on the right side of the store listing, then select the Upsell Order Configuration option from the drop-down menu.
- In the pop-up window, enable the Update Orders option. Then, enter the desired On Hold Duration time (in minutes) to delay order processing. After entering the wait time, click Save.
- A confirmation notification will appear at the top of the screen, indicating that your settings have been successfully saved.
By following these steps, OMS will wait for the specified duration before syncing orders, allowing any upsell items to be included in the order.
