We are excited to announce a new customisation in our WMS that enhances the storage charges configuration, allowing for more accurate and customisable billing for customers. This update introduces new tabs and parameters that provide greater flexibility in defining charges based on various criteria. Here are the key features and improvements:
We believe that these enhancements will greatly benefit our users, enabling them to provide more transparent and accurate billing for their customers
Define Packaging Material Charges
- Introducing the ability to define separate packaging material costs for each packaging material.
- Users can set different costs for each packaging material, providing more accurate billing.
- Two options are available: "Fixed" for common costs across all materials, and "By material type" for specific costs.
- The "Fixed" option displays standard packaging material charges in the billing type and charges column.
- "By material type" offers an auto search mechanism for selecting packaging materials, ensuring accuracy.
- A minimum of three characters is required for suggestions to appear, showing active and chargeable materials.

Define Inbound/B2C/B2B Charges by Slab
Users can configure billing charges per slabs for Inbound order processing and B2C order Picking and Packing. This feature enables users to set different pricing structures based on specific slabs defined by quantity, volume, category, or weight.
With this enhancement, the system will calculate the charges for Purchase orders and B2C sales orders based on the configured slab pricing. Users will be able to view and track these charges in the billing report, providing transparency and accuracy in billing calculations.
Ex: If the user defines a slab for picking charges as 1 to 4 items at $10. With this configuration, the system applies a flat charge of $10 for the first 4 items in the slab. However, for any additional items beyond the fourth, separate charges will be automatically calculated, ensuring accurate billing down to the item level.
1. Under "Inbound Billing charges", click on "Inbound Processing Charges".
2. Choose whether to configure fixed charges or charges by slab. For slab-based charges, click on options such as "By Volume", "By Quantity", "By Weight", or "By Category". This will provide an option to enter the minimum and maximum slab values along with the corresponding charges.
3. Users can add multiple slabs by clicking on the "Add" button.
4. Slabs can be deleted by clicking on the "Delete" button next to the respective slab.
5. Similarly, charges can be added for "B2C Picking and Packing" under "B2C Order Charges".
6. After adding the charges, click on "Next" to save the changes.
7. Based on the charges setup, billing report will be calculated for Inbound and B2C picking and packing.

Define handling charges for B2B order.
During the packing process, system automatically identifies the number of cartons added, while user can manually input the number of processed pallets. This captured carton and pallet information is utilized to accurately calculate handling charges, which seamlessly integrate into the billing report within the B2B billing module.
In addition, we have further enhanced the B2B order creation process by introducing a feature to capture container details on order creation. These parameters align with the ones collected during inbound billing. We've made this field optional, ensuring flexibility during order creation. User have the freedom to select the suitable container details for an order, with the corresponding amount seamlessly integrated into the B2B billing charges. This results in precise tracking of container-related costs throughout the billing process.
1. Enable a Warehouse level setting to ‘Capture Pallet and Loose Pieces’
2. Create B2B Order ( Bulk Upload and Order creation ) : Define Consignment Size
3. Packing: While adding the carton’s user can define the No. of Pallets and Loose Pieces
4. Billing Module B2B Order Section : User can define the consignment size charges.
5. Based on the No. of pallets/ carton / Loose pieces added, billing report will be Generated for B2b orders.
