Hello Everyone,
We We are thrilled to announce significant enhancements in Anchanto Order Management (OM). This upgrade introduces an automated order splitting functionality, providing our users with a seamless and user-friendly experience.
This new features is now live.
Use Case
The goal of this functionality is to enhance order fulfilment efficiency through the advanced capabilities of the Order Split functionality in the OM system. This feature allows for tailored splitting based on configured criteria in the Order Split engine, catering to diverse use cases:
Case 1: Order containing Digital Goods
- Example: A buyer orders an E-Book (digital) and 2 notebooks (inventory SKUs). The system splits the order based on brand, marking the E-Book as complete upon payment, and delivering notebooks separately.
Case 2: Order containing Cold Storage SKU and Normal Inventory
- Example: Orders with cold storage items and regular inventory products are split and delivered separately to ensure proper handling and storage conditions.
Case 3: Order Weight or Volume Exceeding Shipping Threshold
- Example: Orders are split based on weight or volume, a 40kg order would be separated into shipments of 10kg each to optimise the carrier's utilisation effectively.
Case 4: Order with special category SKUs
- Example: Split orders based on categories, such as beauty > perfume, marking them as fragile shipments. Hence using premium carrier services for fast and safe delivery for such SKUs.
Case 5: Large Order Quantities
- Example: For orders exceeding 40 items, multiple shipments are created for efficient handling and separate deliveries to the customer.
Case 6: Distribute Order Value in Multiple Shipments
- Example: Orders surpassing $200 in value are split into multiple shipments, each valued at $50, reducing potential losses in the case of package loss or damage during transit.
Benefits for the Sellers
- Diverse Product Handling: Efficiently manage mixed orders with physical and digital goods, ensuring precise and streamlined processing for each item.
- Customised Fulfilment: Configured splitting criteria to specific business needs, considering brands, categories, volume, or product types for a nuanced approach to order processing.
- Enhanced Efficiency: Streamline order management, reducing manual efforts and time for complex orders, leading to quicker fulfilment and improved overall operational efficiency.
- Tailored Solutions: Configure split criteria based on unique business requirements, allowing the OMS to adapt seamlessly to the specific challenges and needs of sellers' operations
