The Packaging Material setting enhancement aims to provide more granular control over packaging processes at both the warehouse and customer levels, with specific considerations for different order types: B2B and B2C.

Quality Check (QC) Settings:
- If QC is disabled, users will directly access the Packaging Screen, saving time and streamlining the packing process.
- The ability to disable QC for specific order types ensures a tailored approach to the QC process.
- QC settings provide granular control, allowing users to choose from scanning, manual input, combined scan and input, global scan functionality, and acknowledgment at both global and item levels.

Packaging Settings:
- The packaging process is customizable based on order types.
- Users can choose from different settings such as manual selection of packaging and carton, automatic addition of all items to a single carton (mobile app exclusive) or skipping packaging and carton selection altogether.
- This customization streamlines the packaging process, reducing manual steps and enhancing operational efficiency.

- Print settings provide options for document handling during the order fulfillment process.
- Users can choose between default settings for manual document printing, auto printing for USB-connected printers without manual intervention, and configuration of printing benches within the Warehouse module for systematic document printing.

Packaging Material setting are on warehouse and customer level settings.
Settings should be as follows for each order type B2B and B2C order Type.
Warehouse Settings: Create New Warehouse -> Settings.
Customer Settings: Customer -> Select Customer Name -> Select Settings
Packing Settings:
Quality Check (QC):
- If QC is disabled, the QC screen will be bypassed during packing, directing the user straight to the Packaging Screen.

QC Settings:
- Scan: Each item requires scanning by the user.
- Input: Manual input of quantity by the user.
- Scan + Input: Initial item scan followed by manual addition of extra items/units.

Acknowledgement Options:

Global: Confirm QC with a single 'Confirm' button press.

Global: Confirm QC with a single 'Confirm' button press.
- Item Level: Confirm QC for each item using the item-level 'Confirm' button.
- Global Scan: SKU scanning functionality exclusively on the Mobile App at a global level.
Note: This does not apply to orders consisting of a single SKU and a single unit when the user has activated the SKIP QC settings for single-unit and single-item orders.
Use Case 1: Global Scan Enabled with Scan Option
- Description: Global SKU scan option is activated on the PDA.
- User Action: The user scans each item individually to complete the QC process.
Use Case 2: Global Scan Enabled with Input Option
- Description: Global Scan is enabled on the PDA, and the input option is also activated.
- User Action: The user scans each item globally and manually adds the SKU, inputting the quantity during the QC process.
Use Case 3: Global Scan Enabled with Scan and Input Option
- Description: Global Scan is enabled on the PDA, and both the Scan and Input options are activated.
- User Action: The user performs a global scan of the SKU and manually enters the quantity during the QC process.
Note:
- Global scan is not applicable for Global-level acknowledgment and Item-level acknowledgment options.
Packaging Settings:
- If Packaging Setting is disabled then If Packaging Settings are turned off, users skip the packaging material selection and are redirected straight to the print document screen.
- If Packaging settings are enabled, users can choose from
- Selection of Packaging and Carton:
This is a default setting. Users manually select and add products to packaging material while doing the packing.
Note: This step is bypassed if packaging material is already assigned to SKU, and auto-assignment setting is enabled.
- Add all items to only one carton:
If this Setting is enabled, then all SKUs are automatically assigned to a single carton if this setting is enabled. This will work for both PDA and Web.
This eliminates the need for users to explicitly select and add packaging material, reducing steps in the packaging process.
- Skip Packaging and Carton Selection:
Users directly redirected to the print document screen, bypassing the selection of packaging materials.
Print Settings:
Print settings provide options for document handling during the order fulfillment process. Users can choose between default settings for manual document printing, auto printing for USB-connected printers without manual intervention.
Print options include:
- Default Setting: To print the document, select 'Print,' preview, and proceed with printing.
- Auto/Silent Printing: Enable silent printing for USB-connected printers without manually clicking the print button.
- Printing Bench: Configure the printer by designating a printing bench within the Warehouse module.
