Split Order Functionality of SelluSeller

Why Split Order Functionality needed?

Sometimes, due to stock mismatch between SelluSeller and Marketplace, we can get the overselling orders i.e. Marketplace shows the quantity available but in SelluSeller the product is either Out of Stock or quantity available is less than what is ordered.

The orders can be for one Single SKU or Multiple SKUs as well.

Such orders will be marked as Partial/Unfulfillable orders.

Depending on the product availability, Seller can choose to Partially fulfil the order now and rest of the order can be fulfilled upon availability.

How to:

We currently do not allow the Order Split at unit level but at SKU level only. I.e. (for example) an order for 5 quantities but fulfillable only for 3, cannot be split but order of 2 or more SKUs and one SKU quantity (complete) can be fulfilled, then the order can be fulfilled.

For Example, Order # 394312641143475, is ordered with the 3 quantities of SKU C00012.

However, we’ve only 1 quantity of SKU C00012 available for Fulfilment.

Hence, the order is marked as Partial with the reason as Out of Stock.

Here, Seller can either update the stock quantity of the order or as the order can be partially fulfilled, can choose to do so as well.

In case, Seller has decided to go for Partial Fulfillment, they can do so by Splitting the order.

The same option is available on the main orders page or once they open the order to view the order details as well.
