Yes, you can enable and disable product for batch and expiry management in WMS. Kindly ensure the product does not have stock while changing the product configuration for batch and expiry management
But if specific SKU is not Batch & Expiry enabled and Stock is also available for specific SKU, then please raise a request to support team to add Batch & Expiry date from Backend
