Sometimes there’s a need to pack a single order into different parcels/cartons.
Depending on whether the carrier supports the multi-parcel, you can enable disable this setting from your WMS account.
- Login into your WMS account.
- Go to Warehouse module and select the respective Warehouse.
- Click the arrow on the right to the All Warehouses and select the desired Warehouse from the dropdown.
- Click on Carriers and search for the respective carrier in the list. Click on Edit option on the right under Actions column.
- On Edit Carrier page, check Support Multiparcel option.
- In case the carrier accepts same AWBs for multi-parcel orders, select Supported Carrier.
With this, the AWB generated will be same except the carton numbers/Ids.
- If the carrier needs separate AWBs for each parcel, select Non-Supported Carrier.
With this, for each parcel/carton, a separate AWB will be generated, which may be chargeable (by carrier).
- In case the carrier accepts same AWBs for multi-parcel orders, select Supported Carrier.
- Click on Update Carrier button at the bottom of the page to save and apply the changes and Cancel to discard the changes.
