Creation and Deletion of Storage Area (Manual/Bulk)

Storage Area Creation (Manual)

• To create storage Area, go to ‘Warehouse’ module from primary panel and select the ‘Warehouse’.
• Select the storage type Area and click on ‘Add Area’ button under warehouse facilities tab.
  
  
  
• Fill up the details and click on ‘Add New Area’ button.
  
• New Area is now created
  Product Categories are Defined Under Inventory > Category Management.The category information is captured for upcoming functionality i.e., category wise storage suggestion during Picking.
  
  
  
  

Storage Area Creation (Bulk)

• To create storage Area bulk, go to ‘Warehouse’ module from primary panel and select the ‘Warehouse’.
• Select the storage type Area and click on ‘Bulk Upload’ button under warehouse facilities tab.
  
• A pop-up will appear and click on ‘Download Bulk Area Upload Template’ button to download the sample template.
  
• Fill the details of storage areas as per the template and import to WMS.
  
  
• You will be redirected to ‘Bulk Activities’ tab and will see the upload status.
  Note: Error report gets generated if upload is failed.
  
  
• After successful upload, the Areas are created
  
  
  

Edit & Delete | Storage Location

 

• To delete/edit Storage Area, click Edit/Delete button against the Area.
