The Feature:
The Printing Bench Automation feature in our system revolutionizes the printing process, allowing users to automate printing tasks and directly print documents from web and PDA devices. This user manual provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure and utilize the Printing Bench Automation feature effectively.
1. Accessing Printing Bench Configuration
- Log in to the system and navigate to the Warehouse Module.

Locate the Printing Bench section and click on it to access the printing bench configuration.
2. Configuring Printers on a Bench
- In the Printing Bench configuration, select the desired bench for configuration.
- Specify the IP Address and Printer ID for each printer to be associated with the bench.
- If multiple printers are required for the bench, click on the "Add Printer" button and repeat step 2 for each additional printer.

Save the changes made to the printer configuration.
3. Default Bench Selection
- In the Warehouse Module, navigate to the Printing Bench section.
- Select the default bench for inbound, outbound, and dispatch document printing respectively.

This selection ensures that the designated bench is automatically used for printing operations, enhancing efficiency.
4. Quick Test Print Templates
- In the Printing Bench configuration, locate the desired bench.
- Click on the "Quick Test Print" button next to the bench to initiate a test print.

Verify the appearance and layout of the printed document to ensure it meets your requirements.
5. Scanning a Printing Bench
- During the inbound, outbound, or dispatch activities, locate the scan bench option.
- Scan the barcode associated with the desired printing bench.

Access all printing activities related to the scanned bench, simplifying tracking and management of printing tasks.
6. Bulk Configuration of Printing Benches
- In the Printing Bench configuration, click on the "Bulk Upload Bench" option.
- Prepare a CSV file containing the printer type and document preferences for each bench.

Upload the CSV file and follow the on-screen instructions to configure multiple benches simultaneously.
7. Managing Multiple Printing Benches
- In the Printing Bench configuration, users can configure and manage multiple printing benches.
- Each bench can have its own set of printers and preferences, catering to diverse printing requirements.

Select the desired bench for specific printing tasks or switch between benches as needed.
8. Automatic Refresh of Printing Benches
- Once a user logs out of the system, the printing bench will be automatically refreshed.
- This feature ensures that the printing bench remains up to date and ready for use in subsequent sessions.
